Long before I planned and designed weddings, I spent a decade building a career that dabbled with design on its most versatile scale. At eighteen, I studied Architecture and spent the next few years finding my footing in corporate management. Life, as I knew it, was good. 

One fine day, my-then boyfriend popped ‘the’ question. In the weeks that followed, our families met for the first time and within a day of going from brunch to dinner, they gave it a go. Only, now, I was dawned upon with a wedding to plan – all from three cities away and with a day job at hand. 

He was a true-blue Pahadi with his kin settled in the idyllic lake town of Nainital. So, when it came down to the wedding venue, against the Punjabi norms of hosting the wedding at the ladki-wallahs, we knew we had to rally our people to the stunning northern highlands. For the next few months, I spent every conscious second of my existence, planning the week that would seal our lives, and to an unparalleled joy. I felt my senses come alive as I straddled through mood boards, picked fabrics and curated menus. The day came, we said our vows with the most special people of our lives as witnesses and it was nothing short of a dream.

In the months that followed, I began to learn the rhythm of everyday life in the hills, and every now and then was asked to help out with wedding preps of friends or extended family. Eventually, someone asked me if I would be open to planning their wedding, and I said yes, without a breath. 

Two years later, I have built a brand with the greatest support from family and friends, beyond what could’ve asked for. With a trusted team of Designers, Logisticians, Vendors and Craftsmen, I hope to design the biggest days of your lives!
